Rise Up Clean Up campaigned and raised funds to have a water fountain installed on Margate Main Sands beach.
This is the area with the highest tourist footfall in Thanet. We want to eliminate plastic bottles from our beaches, and this is one simple way to encourage people to refill their bottles, or just drink from the fountain itself.
